Begging for Sunburn

.::sunday, june 5::.

The Somerville Street Fair.

Jamie, Danielle, and I hit the "town" a few blocks from their house the next morning (well, morning the way I like it - an hour before and three hours after noon).

Dani with Jeff's cute dog (whose name escapes me), and Jamie, the manly man behind GWS's Jameson and the brilliant webcomic In His Likeness.

More cute Dani and cute dog.

Jamie and Jeff, the owner of said cute dog.

The smell of funnel cake finally drew the lovely Laura and her studly boyfriend Bill (the brilliant SCAD artist behind GWS's first and second guest strips!) to the fair.

Once we were all good & sunburnt, we celebrated Laura's birthday early (well, okay, we also celebrated our appetites after eating nothing but smoothies and funnel cake all day) at the Time To Eat Diner, where Laura was treated to a birthday ca-- uh... birthday... bread pudding.

And a trick candle.

Which she eventually defeated, much to the horror of the bread pudding.

And my last image shall be Bill in his natural habitat. Smoking in a Jersey diner. Classic.

That's a wrap! Sorry there weren't more pictures - I promise there will be plenty to see when I get back from New York! Meanwhile, hope you enjoyed the Philly tale, and I'll catch you all at the end of June.
