The Big Apple Con across from Penn Station in New York has become a new home for this creator, hosting several shows every year just a four-hour drive and one-hour train ride away from my cozy apartment in West Bygod (thus always giving me a reason to visit my friends in Jersey for at least a night).

This year I came up a day early to snap some photos in the city before things got too cold. To be honest, I didn't get many photos from the actual convention, so this travelogue features almost ENTIRELY photos from the city, rather than photos from the show itself!

These were shot in Chelsea... in case you couldn't tell. ;)

I'm sorry, but giant adult toy-shaped playground pieces? C'mon. That's comedy.
