Once again, pre-Pittsburgh Comic Con, I simply HAD to indulge in the thrill I get from taking photographs from the driver's seat of my car.
And kicking it off, again, is the Tunnel Shot!

I spent Thursday night before the con at my friend Marcel Walker's place in the 'Burgh, as he was kind enough to put me up.
There was a gorgeous sunset before I got there....

... and I also felt the need to bring home a piece of Breezewood, PA, Land of Hotels.

After spending a half hour at the local Home Depot trying to be inventive and come up with an effective way to hang my banner behind my table, I finally tied up two posts to the dividers at the back of my booth and started to set up shop.

|
Of course, about ten minutes after we opened, I was doing my typical "I procrastinated last night" routine and sliced a piece of my finger off while I was cutting "Bottoms Up" books!
My kind neighbor Brandon scurried off to get band-aids for me, but after I performed what I thought was a fairly successful first aid job, he informed me that I was "bleeding all over my stuff."
Indeed I was! A little clean-up later, I was back in business.

That night my worlds collided when I hit the penthouse for some free booze, only to find my college buddies Amanda and Dustin (and their Shepherd friends Adrian and Joanna) playing drinking games with my friend Tal Caldwell!
Needless to say, I induldged in a game of "F*** the Dealer."

I wound up drawing Joanna the next day in her kick-ass Catwoman outfit (as I recovered from a nasty hangover, AS usual), but I didn't photograph much that day because I was so busy! So... |
