Anybody want a free iPhone?

Hey, remember a long time ago when some of you helped me win an iPhone in a contest held by Free Mesa? Well, I bit off more than I could chew and was barely able to pop out two months' worth of your prize: color Sunday strips (although I suppose a dozen was better than zero!).

So now that they're having another contest, I figured I'd skip out on trying to win, and instead just let you guys know about it. They're givin' out shuffles, too!

Here's the link for the contest rules. I don't normally promote non-profits here because, let's face it, I can't promote EVERYONE'S non-profit, but this is a really easy way to help reduce waste, and it costs you nothing. It's basically a simpler (in my opinion) version of Freecycle.

PS. Speaking of which, did you know that "freecycle" is now legally a verb? So you can tell your roommate to "Freecycle that couch, man, don't just toss it in the landfill!" If he doesn't know what you mean by freecycle, just roll your eyes and call him a square.

Updates and books!

Go figure, I leave town for a week and have a friend update the comic every night, and the moment I get home I get sick and miss an update. Ugh. Sorry folks!

So for those who were wondering, this is Friday's strip. It's an important one that attempts to answer the big question on many readers' minds (I am reading your e-mails and tweets!), as well as Hazel's: "I thought Jamie wasn't a lesbian!"

Keep those e-mails coming! This will be a tricky topic to cover in just five strips per week, but I hope it'll make sense.

For those of you who purchased GWS books, the shipment will be here this weekend! I'll be keeping you posted as to which orders have been shipped out. The info will be printed just below the image of the books above; see?
