This week's strips will be double-deckers, so that I can fit the entire brilliant date into the storyline... and also so that we'll be DONE with this damn holiday as soon as possible! No more Valentine's Day in March, y'all! I'm a changed woman!

Staple!

Hey y'all, guess what time it is! Time to share with you the joy that is Staple! in Austin, Texas, coming up March 7th.

This is one of my favorite shows of the year, and not JUST because it's effing cold on the east coast right now. It's a super-cheap ($5) one-day alt-comics show sandwiched by pre- and post-parties. That's like, 40% convention and 60% drinking!

This year they're featuring Stan Sakai, Chris Onstad and Jeffrey Brown, along with Josh Lesnick of Girly, Monica Gallagher of Gods & Undergrads, and Mangler of Mangled Stare. But I'm just posting the web personalities I'm familiar with; I'm sure you'll find way more reasons to come if you check the guest list!

This year I'll be selling both GWS Volumes One and Two, and delivering pre-ordered sketches, as I probably will not have time to sketch at the show (except the sketches in your books, of course!).

If you'd like to pre-order a sketch, please e-mail me at gwsmerch@gmail.com and let me know what you'd like a sketch of. I've decided to keep my prices the same as last year: $40 for black-and-white and $80 for full color. You can see examples from past shows riiight here.
