Once again, the wonderful, handsome and even sometimes single Comic Geek Speak guys let me flap my lips on a podcast interview for your listening pleasure. I don't remember what I said, but I'm sure as usual I let fly some gems that should never be repeated.

Speaking of podcasts...

Have you guys been listening to the Kurtz/Straub/Kellett/Guigar podcast, Webcomics Weekly? It's FANTASTIC, and I'm not just saying that because Kurtz said nice things about me.

If you're among the, uh, you know, ten webcomic creators living in the middle of nowhere, this may fill the void that's been missing in your life. The only thing I'm missing in my adorable, cheek-pinchable town is other artists to talk shop with, and their podcast has been a really nice alternative to moving.

Or kidnapping webcomic creators and dragging them blindfolded to West Virginia.

Legitimate!

The next strip seems to mesh a lot better with the one following it, so I'm going to post THOSE two together on Wednesday instead of today. This one felt like it needed to stand alone.

And yes, now I will sing that song in my head every time I open a fortune cookie.

On another note... man, Baltimore rocked so hard! It was great to meet so many of you this time!

Does everybody know Kris Straub of Starslip Crisis? God, he's like, the nicest human being on the planet. And you already know PvP's utterly fabulous Scott Kurtz, of course. The three of us and fellow-nicest-human-being Brad Guigar of Evil Inc ~~got sloshed~~ hung out Saturday night, and Kris/Kurtz and I wound up playing sketchbook tag Sunday night, so I have plenty to show once I have a spare moment to post images.

Speaking of sketches, THANK YOU to everyone who got sketches from me, and I'll post those soon as well! Extra special thanks to those of you who came up just to tell me how much they enjoy the strip. I can't tell you how much that means to me. It really makes me tingle to hear it. In a good way. So thank you.

I was invited last-minute to visit my best friend from high school tonight, who I haven't seen in a very long time. He's an actor and rarely has nights off, so I hope you guys can understand. I'm probably going to put up the next update later Wednesday, but if not, you'll get your five days' worth this week - it's just getting pushed back a lot.
