This strip is officially dedicated to Samantha, born by Sapho and raised by the amazons.
This is the closeset I could get for you, honey. ;)

50 kids
I just got home from drawing caricatures of 50 kids between the ages of 4 and 12.
Thus, I'm doing the strip tomorrow, and then I'm getting my tubes tied on Friday.
Just kidding. (About the tubes.) But the strip will be here later in the day (Thursday).
You guys are saints for being so patient with me lately...

Right on schedule
Could it be... why, yes it is! It's a GWS strip updated ON-TIME!
I have plenty of things to rant about, but... tomorrow, my pets. The hour is late. I'm going to bed.

September already??!!
I can't BELIEVE it's already SEPTEMBER!! It's one of my favorite months in the year, but... where the hell did August go??!!
Looking at my schedule for the next month, I'm going to be asking the same question in October. *sigh*
I'm one busy gal.
I'm gearing up a bit for
Baltimore and getting psyched up!
I'll be putting together more Bottoms Up books (and hopefully a few NEW little coffee table books), getting portfolios of TONS of original work together, and I may even have tee shirts at that point (I'm not sure what the deal on those is yet).
Anyway, you'll hear more about that later.
Until then? Sleeeeeeeeeep.
...
Oh wait! I do have another announcement. A pal of mine is organizing a webcomic charity fund for the victims of Katrina.
I'll update y'all on it once I get more information, but for now it sounds like I'm gonna be auctioning off a few GWS pieces to help out those in need down in N'Orleans.
You'll hear more about it soon!

Another quick first o' September post
Hey, just thought I should bring this up:
360ep, the company Girls With Slingshots is going through for merchandise etc., is selling its first comic book!
Advent Rising is a Majesco Entertainment game which 360 put to paper in a 64-page $2.50 (super-cheap for that many COLOR pages!!) comic book.
I know nothing about the game or the premise, but even if you're not into video games (let alone comics about video games), there's something in it for you: a pretty, full-page ad for GWS, featuring the lovely and well-endowed Jamie.
I know, it sounds a little silly to buy a comic book for the ad. But come on.
How could you pass up a face like
this?
Exactly. You can't.
So save up $2.50 and pick it up in October. For me :)
