Big fat liar!!
Alright, so I lied. Big-time. I got so busy, between e-mails and phone calls and unpacking and going back to work, that I couldn't even put up a second strip!

I'm sorry guys. I letchya down. But at least there's SOMETHING new up now!

And now for the news. As many of you may know after Monday's press release went out, I signed with 360ep, a "full-service entertainment property management company" started by Bill Jemas, the former prez of Marvel. This has been in the works for months, so I'm extremely happy to finally be able to share it with you guys, because the FIRST thing I wanted to do was share it with my readers. You guys are tops on my list of people to impress, entertain, and (dare I say it!) serve, so it was like keeping a big happy secret from all of my favorite people for four months.

The full press release can be found on just about any comics review website, but I'm going to link you to The Beat because my gal pal/acquaintence Heidi McDonald is the one who posted it there. Plus, they teased about the reassurance of a "non-feminist tone," and I thought it was pretty funny.

Teasing aside, I'm really happy to be working with these guys, particularly after I met with Bill, Russ, and Teresa last week in New York.... more to come on that trip!

So what does the 360ep thing mean? It means I keep up with the strip. I get better at updating on time. I become more devoted to it. That's it. I won't be softening the tone, taking out the exploitives (sorry, Grandma!), subduing the gay characters or giving it a PC agenda, although there will ALWAYS be female characters with a few extra pounds. I told Teresa from the start that I couldn't change the direction this strip was going in, and she more than understood. My readers and the strip itself come first in this operation, at all times.

This also means that we'll have merchandise soon, and there will FINALLY be webpages attached to those links you see up there!

Also, this site will also be receiving a facelift shortly. Hopefully I'll be able to get it halfway done by the end of the weekend. Until then, welcome, new readers! And keep reading - big things are in store for GWS this year!

I'm prickly!
First a little news: the GWS ad I created awhile ago just hit the stands in Vampirella Magazine Wednesday! So pick up a copy of the mag at your nearest comic book store or other fine mag-friendly store today!!

Also, the 3 am interview I did (in all of my late-night wackiness) for Jamie in Jersey can be found at the Comics Nexus now. Beware my sleepy wrath - I don't recall making much sense that night!

Next on the list of things to say... yes. Yes, that is a cactus Hazel is talking to.
