More Pin-Ups!
Here's one I thought I'd shown to you guys already... turns out I haven't let many people see the finished product!
This is the ad that should be in Vampirella Magazine sometime soon (in the next week? Month? I'll find out and let you know!)
The original drawing for this one will be for sale at the show this weekend, as well.
Which reminds me, I've had a few people ask if they'll be able to browse my show and purchase artwork without going to New York.
The answer is a big "probably." Time permitting, I'd like to give you guys a "virtual show" before I leave this weekend.
If I can, I'm going to post digital photos of all of the framed artwork for you to browse through.
I'll have original artwork AND prints of most of the same work for sale.
Anyway, you'll be the first to know if the work will be for sale online. :)

You're welcome, West Virginia.
Well, I did it again. No snow for three months of winter, and suddenly, during the ONE weekend I need to have snow-free, BAM! It does this.
Granted, it's beautiful and I can't wait to go play in it, but... WHY NOW??!! I need to go shopping for frames and matboard!! ARGH!
Well, some GOOD news for my trip tomorrow night; I finally bought a CD player for my car!
I've been doing several hours' worth of extra work lately - caricatures and otherwise - so I figured I could afford to splurge. And it's sooooooo nice!
I have music in my car again!! So tomorrow might not be a TOTAL hassle...

Last ones!
Well, that's it for me! I'm heading to Jersey tonight and will be in New York tomorrow morning.
I won't be back until late, late Tuesday night, so forgive the delay on new strips next week (again! I know!).
Today's special: oldies but goodies. I think I drew these two years ago, before I even knew what I was going to do with GWS.
All I knew was that I wanted a cute, short, curvy brunette and the tall, curly-haired red-head string bean from my old comic Hazelnuts.
And that I wanted them in black outfits with those silly, trendy wings you can find at Hot Topic. With slingshots. That was it!
The drawing of Jamie is actually a T-shirt design I created for my friend Val, one of the inspirations behind that character.
Maybe one of these days I'll actually PUT OUT a T-shirt so I can put this to use!
Both of these images will be at the show, too, in print form (I've already sold the originals).
I finished wrapping up all of the framed artwork last night and it's piled into my wheeled luggage now.
Unfortunately I couldn't get any digital pictures of the work before I stacked it into boxes, but I've got the original digital formats of all of them.
Unfortunately I ALSO didn't have time to put together a gallery of said work before I go, but I'll be sending all of the images to my good friend and GWS enthusiast Karl, as per his generous offer to do all the work for me (probaby in half the time!).
Everybody wave and say "thank you" to Karl!
If all goes well, I'll be able to put up a virtual gallery opening here by next week, and I'll let you know what's been sold and what's still for sale.
Likewise, if anyone wants prints of the work, all you'll need to do is e-mail me.
So what am I SHOWING anyway? Good question! I didn't know until last night.
I decided last-minute to hang (in addition to all of the pin-up GWS work you see here) several colorful photos and drawings I did while I was in Europe.
I think they make a nice addition, and I'll be bringing along my Europe sketchbooks as well.
Well, I think that's it from my 'hood. Hehe. "Hood." I'm a thug. Anyway, I'd better get going.
I've only packed for the show so far - I don't have any clothes packed yet!
But I hope everyone has a great weekend, and I'll be back Wednesday to greet y'all with some down-home GWS goodness.
